I have been helping people buy and sell homes for well over twenty years now.  I am fortunate enough now to be entrusted with the real estate needs of the children of my clients which is indeed a great honour but makes me feel quite old!

I have enjoyed a very successful and rewarding career with Re/Max for almost twenty years and achieved one of their highest honours by being inducted into the Re/Max “Hall of Fame”.  However a few years ago I accidentally came across a company called Keller Williams.

The goals of Keller Williams were so much in line with mine that after going to Texas to fully investigate the company I quickly moved to this amazing organization.  A company who has a clear and visible value system of honesty, integrity, client is first, always do the right thing – A company whose focus is on    learning, improving, teaching and sharing with every agent ways to elevate the real estate industry and to provide extensive leading edge technology, second to none training in order that their agents can better serve their clients and be most successful in this changing world!  A company who believes the focus should be on the client and not the company or the agent.  Keller Williams Realty the fastest growing, most innovative company in North America and I am proud to be associated with it!

When I read the “testimonials” from my clients – I see a few comments that seem to come up a lot and that is “Lisa make the process fun and comfortable”.  I LOVE what I do!  There is a saying “People don’t care how much you know until they know how much you care. For myself, this is crystal clear.  Clients know that I am truly connected with the   successful outcome of each real estate transaction and I have a genuine concern (not for MY needs) but for the best interest of my clients. I am always prepared to go the extra mile and I guess they feel it and know it! Makes me feel great to be appreciated.

We believe that we should always be learning in order to best serve our clients and over the years I have learned from the best!  From technology training to Tony Robbins, Super Agent program, By Referral Only Institute, Staging and Marketing Strategist, many many continuing education courses offered by our industry and our company and very recently, Lisa was in the very first graduating class giving her the designation of “Accredited Senior Agent”. Education we believe should be constant and is mandatory to keep abreast of all the latest technology in order to best serve the needs of our clients.

I was elected by my peers to hold the position of “Director” at the Mississauga Real estate Board and am serving the second year of  a two year term.

I always say that this should never be “about me” but I sure seem to have rambled on about myself!  I hope this will give you a bit of an idea about what type of person I am and how I like to conduct business.

I live in Streetsville with my partner Mark who is a firefighter with the City of  Mississauga and our dog Daisy

You’ve heard actors say, when they accept their awards that they feel guilty for accepting money for doing a job they truly love. That is exactly how I feel about Real Estate.  It’s a career that has given me the  opportunity to meet and help many wonderful people sell and buy their homes.

There is no greater pleasure than to experience the excitement of a Buyer when they find their new home or to sit across the table from the Sellers when they receive top dollar for their house. We achieve this happy ending by working as a team.

Have you ever walked into a store and felt “pressured” to purchase something you really weren’t sure about?  Or had a salesperson agree with everything you said just to get your business?  I refuse to work this way.  I listen very carefully to what my clients have to say and discover what is truly important to them and their family.  My clients always come first!

About Deborah Clerk: Deborah is a part of the HeartNHome team because of her dedication to her clients.  She truly cares about the outcome of each transaction and her extensive back ground in the real estate industry along with her detailed oriented and “numbers” experience has contributed to her success as a realtor® and why her clients come back to work with her time and again!

Deborah worked for over 20 years in her family’s New Home Construction Heating & Air Conditioning Company servicing many of the large builders in the GTA area.  She has also owned her own Bookkeeping company and served on the Board of Directors for her Condominium for over 7 years.

Deborah has also completed one of the very first courses to gain her designation as a

`Certified Senior Agent`.
